M65-5 price check
S&W M65-5 round butt 4" mfgr 1992 price check with shipping and FFL transfer included, please.
Found one that appears to be in vg/exc condition. I've never owned a M65 and I think I might like one to keep in the night stand.

I have the more desireable 3" and I paid $400 with no shipping. We would have no idea what your FFL and shipping fees would be. Hope that helps.

I guess I phrased that poorly. Perhaps I should have said "to my door". Or "without regard to shipping and transfer".
But you gave me the info I was looking for.
Thanks,
Jay

Jay, they are nothing short of great guns. Without rear sights, it's a stainless, rust resistant Military&Police in 357 Magnum. The 4" is a great house/bedroom gun that you can stoke with either .38SPL or .357MAG. The 3" is probably the best concealed carry gun ever conceived by S&W, no sights to snag, better sight radius and full ejection, which a 2.5" gun can't provide. I will NEVER let mine go.
Regards

They are selling for around $400 in my area for a 4". Mine has been my night stand-range gun for years.

Not VGC, but a local shop had some 3" and 4" 65 police trade-ins this past summer. I'd call them average condition, the 4" guns were $309 and the 3" were $319.

$319 is a good price for a 3 inch 65. A bit of Flitz and/or some Scotchbrite and that gun will look great.

That's why it never made it back to the case. The 65 sealed my new love for Smith&Wesson revolvers. I recently bought a 4" 66 for the range, but the 65 is still my favorite.
