Default New member M17-5 question

Looks like there are many 17 experts here and I have a question. I just got a M17-5 6" new in the box, never fired, still wraped in CP all tools unopend. It is NIB. What is it worth? I have a 17-5 and 617 that I shoot daily in bullet trap. I am wondering if I would be able to trade this for a clean M17 8"? I have many guns but none of them are unfired, it seems there are a large number of collectors that want guns in this condition. Before I start shooting it, I thought I would get an educated opinion of the value.

In my opinion, a 17-5 NIB could bring anywhere from $ 475.00 - $ 675.00.
Alot depends on where you are in the U.S. and if you are willing to ship.

Me, I would hang onto that M17, as they don't come along in that condition
on a regular basis.

M17-5's are a rare bird as they seem to only have been made for a couple of years I believe.

Good luck.........
