Default Deluxe Moonclip Tool

Has anyone ever bought a Deluxe Moonclip Tool from Mooncliptool.com? If so what has been your experience?
Is it a good product and a legitimate business?

I am hesitant to send a check to an individual instead of a business.
His name being Clint Walker doesn't reassure me much either.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Another source for moonclip tools and accessories is Tom Kilhoffer at TK Custom. I recently purchased his tools for loading and unloading moonclips, along with some stainless steel moonclips, which were a bit pricey, but they sure look great! He was very responsive to calls and emails and shipped quickly once l placed my order.

Blessings,
Hog

I bought one and it was shipped very fast, it's a great product that will save your fingers. Of all the clip loaders I've tried, this one is the hands down best, well worth the money.

It is an excellent tool and I recommend it highly.

A while after I got it I shifted to the nylon RIMZ clips for my 1917s, and those can be loaded and stripped with fingers. So the tool doesn't get as much use as it did formerly, but I keep it in case I ever have to work again with some of my old metal clips.

My brother and I both have his tool. Great service, and fast shipping.

I load more than just 45 acp. When you order from Clint you can get additional Arbors, such as:
6 shot L Frame 38/357
6 Shot Round Hole 10mm/40 S&W
6 shot Octagon Hole 10mm/40 S&W
5 shot J Frame 38/357
etc, etc.
He can also provide custom size Arbors if the one you need is not a stocked item.

If you have multiple moon clip guns as I do, buying additional Arbors at $5 a pop, is much cheaper than buying additional moon clip tools at $40 a pop.

Look for additional Arbors from other providers. You probably will not find any listed, they would rather sell you another moon clip tool.

When I recommend a moon clip tool, I will recommend ordering yours from Clint.

Bob

I got an early one, all aluminum, one caliber (.45 ACP). It's a very strong and efficient tool that moons and demoons. If I ever get a different caliber moonclipper, I'd buy another Moonclip Tool in a heartbeat.

I just bought one a couple weeks ago. Quick response from the seller to a question I had prior to the purchase, followed by quick delivery of a quality product. Highly recommended!

I agree. Excelent tool. Use for both 627PC and 625-2, just change arbors. You will be very pleased. Bob

Default Hi

I would love to buy one of these Deluxe Moon Clip Tools for my .45 acp Taurus model 456, but he says he doesn't ship out of the USA on his web site
Its a pity as it looks like a great bit of kit! And saves the wear and tear on the old fingers. Cheers

Great tool! I picked one up a few years ago for my .45 ACP revolvers. It's well made, makes loading and unloading moon clips a breeze.

I use one for both 45 and 9mm. Makes the job of loading or unloading very easy.

Default Deluxe Moonclip Tool

Hot dog! One of the "Big Gorillas" endorsed this tool! That's as good as it gets around here.

I bought mine for all of my Model 25s. I started out "on the cheap" - thinking that I could save a lot of money using an improvised tool. Tried the #2 pencil, the needle nose pliers, and the screwdrivers. It was a disaster. I should have been laughed off the range. As we used to say in the squadrons, it was almost like a monkey attempting to make out with a football.

I ordered one (if you search the Internet, this product and design, plus Clint are usually always rated about #1), it was shipped before my check cleared and it works flawlessly.

No cause for any hesitation here - if you haven't placed your order yet, you're loosing valuable time. One of the best shooting accessory tools available.

Enjoy!

I have the same exact tool and also love it. I found it was a necessity to load and unload moon clips for my 986. I find that I can load my 610 & 625 by hand easier, but popping empties is much easier with the tool.
