Had really wanted some wood grips for my 686-6 and had wanted the (to me) more conventional target style.Looked at Eagles but couldn`t spend that much and decided to wait,looking every so often at various manufacturer`s offerings.Last week looked at Altamont`s site and found something that appealed to me...placed the order with Doug last Tuesday and happened to open the front door last night and found the box, placed there by UPS.
Got them installed last night while watching the Oscars and am very pleased with them.Little bit of protrusion at the rear grip tang where it meets the frame but don`t think it will be a problem...won`t know for sure until I shoot it.
Took a couple pics this morning and I hope they will make it with this post but in any case look up Altamont`s site and check it out.I got the Super Rosewood with the S&W medallions.
