Model 624 44 Special
I have a Model 624 44 Special 6" Stainless Steel revolver that has a serial no. beginning with ACH. I've been told these were defective from the factory. Just wanting to hear if this is true and if so what the defect is and what the fix would be.
Thanks,
Mark

There was an issue with the metallurgy of the cylinder on some of these revolvers necessitating the recall.
That has been discussed here quite a lot:
624 recall
Probably best to contact Springfield if in doubt.
