Of course then you have the other extreme...just ignore that nasty 66, don't know why I let it in there to spoil the picture!

The 686/586 early guns are great ones. S&W created a winner when they introduced the L frames. Here are pictures of two very early no-dash guns that remain NIB and I'm the original owner (I have others I shoot). The 6" was shipped with a fairly uncommon Patridge front sight blade.
