Default model 17 difficult extraction

I have an early model 17 (no dash) 4 screw that suffers from hard extraction. I'm not seeing anything in the chambers that could be a problem.

If anyone has experienced this and solved it, please let me know what you found.

Regards

David please cc [email protected] as I don't get back here very often.

Try a different brand of ammo.
Good luck

I would suggest trying diffrent brands of ammo. All of ny old K-22's function fine with the standard velocity ammo and the Federal copper plated/washed HV HP bulk pack ammo. Above all do not use a plain lead HV ammo as you can get a horrible case of leading. Look for ammo brands which are cleaner burning.
