Default New Model 36

Well I went out today and purchased a Model 36 .38 special how ever I have no idea what year it dates or more information about the gun.

The serial starts with AFW4XXX

It looks like Air-weight perhaps but it has a bobbed hammer.

First off, welcome to the forum.

Your revolver dates to 1984-85.

Do you know about how much it would be worth? Also the bobbed hammer rare?
