Default Current value ? 629-4 6" barrel

Can someone provide me with an appoximate gunshop value of a 629-4 with a 6" barrel, used but not apparently abused, some marks on stainless but no pits, hogue monogrips, no box or papers. Still locks up tight. Also what should the gap measure between the barrel and cylinder? Thanks everyone.

Value of the gun you describe is $650 in Washington state. The BC gap can vary from .004 to .008 and still be a great shooter.

Okay, thanks for responding. I'll get a feeler gauge out. Shop has one here in Indiana very close to that price. Thanks again.

Check under the grips, sometimes rubber grips trap moisture and you don't want a surprise after you take it home.

ETA you should check out the "Revolver Checkout", by Jim March, if you haven't already done so.

Old thread, same question: What's a seldom-used 629-4 with 6" half-lug, Hogue's, tight lockup, good timing, no box, and in excellent cosmetic and mech condition going for these days? I haven't seen one on GB in awhile.
