29-3 Silhouette range repot

Finally got it to the range today, 240 deep curl bullets, 250 cast wc, lil gun and 2400. Wasnt sure what to expect after shootin my girlfriends 629 8 3/8", man is this thing a shooter, first up 25 yrd to get a feel it, low and to the left, a little adjustment to right on and a little high, then it was down to business, 50 yards front sight on #1 with the deep curl bullets and lil gun, then out to 100 yrds on #2, then the same with the cast wc with 2400, all n. All the lil gun is the performer, groups were awesome and next outing will be on bags and a bench.
Recoil was tame, was expecting to get belted after being used to the 500 mag., recoil was similar to my 686. not sure why this gun never really caught onprobally the single most accurate 44 mag ive ever shot period,
Like to get some watermelons out to 150-200 yrds . One amazing gun in smith & wesson history............more to follow this weekend

Oh yea, i do not like the factory s&w grips, they are out of here lol, the deep checkering digs into the palm of my hand, maybe im a wimp i dont know. I got a new set of Grand Blue grips due any day now, they sure are pretty. My next report on long range shootin this gun will include my opinion of these grips

Congratulations on a great gun. I'm a fan of the sihouette 29, but my shooting buddy is crazy over them. They're a lot of fun to shoot. Always draws a crowd if you take it to a public range.
