Picked up one of my Holy Grail guns today at my FFL...Bought from a Forum member here...Mod 57-1 4" Nickel...Target trigger,Hammer white outline rear sight red front...Sweet pc and it already has new wood..Keith Brown Diamond Cokes...Unfired and Flawless

That's one you just take out and stare at.

Those milk chocolate K.B. stocks are perfect over the nickel.

Thanks Guys...I may fire it...it will be My youngest sons when im gone..All my N Frames will be his...it would be sparingly if i did as i have a 58 i can bang on to shoot .41mag...i can just stare at it and be happy too..its a beauty

Well, I'd stare, and I'd fondle... and then yeah, I'd still go shoot.

This is why I have a stainless steel .44 ... durability, it fits my shoot 'em up style. My guns are tools to be USED like an Estwing hammer, not safe queens. I mean no disrespect and wish I could afford to buy guns I'll never shoot so I could pass them on...But I'll be the first to admit, a nickel Smith Revolver is the prettiest revolver ever made (okay, except maybe a Colt SAA). Thanks for sharing, great pics. Those grips look fantastic.

How clean does that trigger break? Or do you not dry-fire?

That is one gorgeous sixgun, I agree with you shoot the 58 and admire the 57, nib older smiths are hard to find, congrats
