Default Loading 195 HBWC's for a 41 mag

I found a maker in Arkansaw by the name of Matts' bullets that offers a HBWC in 195 Gr. weight for a .41 mag.

I was wondering if anybody had loaded these before ? All the data I've been able to find pushes a standard SWC bullet in that weight range 1100 FPS or higher.I know this is to fast for HBWC bullet.

Anybody got any ideas ?? Thanks for any replies.

Follow the recipe with Trail Boss powder. It goes like this, determine where the bullet will be seated in the case.(max O.A.L.) mark a line where the base of the bullet is on the outside of the case.Pull the bullet and fill to that line with Trail Boss powder.Pour and weigh that charge, that is your max. load, starting load is 70% of the max load.
That's would where I would start, look for evidence of the skirts tearing and reduce the charge .5 gr.Do not compress Trail Boss powder.
Confirm this info on the Trail Boss web page and look for contra indications.

Traditional HBWCs are very soft swagged projectiles.

Matt's 41 HBWCs are cast. The alloy is much harder than any swagged projectile.

Somewhere I have a case of those sitting around, but I can not locate them quickly to check how hard they are.

From what I recall when I handled them the first time. these should be just fine at 1000fps or slightly above.

I would probably put them over 5.1-5.5 grains of 231.
