I am not sure how I feel about it. I will give it credit for peaking my interest.
Congrats on your new revolver.

S&W sure didn't waste any material on that barrel. That's a "snubbie." Wow.
Very neat.
Congrats.

Good looking hand cannon. Are you going to shoot it or because limited run will it be eye candy only? It appears to possibly have been shot or carried some. Shooting that short snubby has got to be a hand full.
That's a special piece you have there.

Congratulations on a GREAT addition to the Family
I LOVE the Pug nosed Smith and Wessons
I already owned the 2" Pug Nosed Model 327 when the 2" 45ACP Model 625s came out. I don't know why , but they just did not "speak to me"
When they were offered up in 45 Colt I knew that I wanted a NY Reload
I just have to get around to ordering the holster from Bell Charter Oaks. I already have one for my J-frame Pocket-Rockets, now I need one for the big brothers

Nice! Pug nosed is a much better description than snubbie.

Maybe its just me but I don't care for those slab-side "pinched nose" barrels. They just look strange and unattractive to me. Not knocking it though, if you are happy I am happy for you.

625-11, 45 Colt
Only 103 and you have one of them, & your grail gun at that! Congrats! Very unique & interesting. I had to look that one up.
I have one of them long barrel 3" 625-7s!

Would sure love one of those in heavy steel! Bet the inherant accuracy would blow you away, with big ole globs of lead just being lobbed to target! Always been impressed how well that short of a barrel can spin up a bullet to be that accurate! Your eyesight only limiting factor!
Great gun!

That short a barrel won’t be getting you anything close to reliable expansion from most all .45 Colt hollow points. I’d carry these:
45 Colt ANTI-PERSONNEL Std. Pressure Low Flash Pistol & Handgun Ammunition
That is, of course, if you intend to keep it loaded for social work. But with a gun like that, why wouldn’t you??

Hahahaha! Awesome! I don't own a Smith or Colt Revolver with a barrel over 3 inches anymore... All of my rifles as of recent have either been 10.5 to 10.3" barrels come to think of it too. In fact, my hunting rifle has a 16.1" barrel and my back up "hunting" sidearm is a 3" M629... (Powerful, compact, easy wielding and concealable)... is my mantra when it comes to personal out n' about and home defense. Nice piece OP and congrats on the find/buy my snub carrying brother!

Nice snubbie BM. I once wished for a pair of 625’s, both -10 & -11 but due to lack of availability of guns and mostly money, I opted to just make one or as close as I could. I actually prefer the steel frame anyway.
New pic of an old (reposted) gun. I call it a M1917-10.
