Default What height fixed Cylinder and Slide sights for M625?

I have a 5" M625 45acp. It's currently setup with a .300" front sight and Millet adjustable rear. I want to add a set of C&S fixed sights. Has anyone done this? With the fixed rear, will the .300" height still work or should I use the .250" front? Thanks in advance..

I'm only speculating, as I did the opposite (took the C&S fixed rear sight off my 325NG & put on an adjustable) of what you want, but the fixed sight was lower than the adjustable. (The front got changed to a .225" ramp from a .185" night sight.) I'd think the .300" would be too tall.

However much lower the fixed sight is than the existing adjustable is, that's how much lower the front will need to be to have the same POI as you have now.

I think the fixed rear sight is a nominal .160" tall blade. Since your gun originally came with a .110" rear blade your existing front sight might be too short, not too tall. with the new fixed rear sight installed I'd expect your gun to shoot high, depending of course on the ammo you intend to use.
