Default Kudos to S&W Service - I think

I had to send back my 327NG because the blast shield fell off. Turn around time was less than 2 weeks. But that's not why I am impressed with the service.

Before sending in the gun, I removed the Internal Lock mechanism.

After sending in the gun for repair, I ordered a plug. The gun came back today, and I openned the gun to insert the plug. I discovered that S&W had installed another IL. Now there was no reason to check the lock when inserting a new blast shield. But S&W service checked it nevertheless, found it missing and installed a new one. I am impressed that they checked the gun and did not have tunnel vision and attend only to the specific repair job that I requested. So Kudos to them... I think.

Ruger is the same way, their company lawyers have far reaches and will reinstall any of their "safety" mechanisms if they're missing on the gun.
