Bought a Governor today. Have a few questions.
First, what size (K,L,N) grips fit it? Does it use the same moonclips as the N frames? Haven't shot it yet, but bought some 410 #6's and some WW 45acp to play with. Hope it does well with the 45acp as I plan to use it alot. Oh, is there any concern about flame cutting seeing as how these guns have an aliminum or scandiam frame?

My Governor shares moonclipped .45 ACP ball ammo with my 625JM - same size 'clips. Big and slow rounds, like 230gr FMJ .45 ACPs and 255gr LSWC .45 Colts, don't flame cut like hyper-velocity lite weight Magnums, thus, no inset steel plate under the topstrap/over the b/c gap. I haven't bought more .410's since the first week I owned my Governor - last June. The novelty quickly wore off - it's 'reason to be' here was the .45 ACP usage - and that's likely been 75% of it's use; most of the rest being .45 Colt.
The easiest rounds to load/unload by hand in the Ranch Products moonclips (They make them for S&W.) are Starline and Remington/UMC brass. RP clips are best ordered direct - they were $35/100 shipped. I prefer Brownell's nutdriver-style demooner. Enjoy your Governor. BTW, mine hits coincident POI/POA at 7-12 yd with 230gr FMJ 'ball' ammo in .45 ACP; similarly, it hits there with 250/255gr LRNFP/LSWC .45 Colts - and 250gr Speer Gold Dots, too.
Stainz
PS The S&W Accessories Hogue X-frane .500 Magnum monogrips fit the Governor, too. They pad the backstrap - lessen the felt recoil.

Yeah technically they call it the "Z" frame but it takes K&L grips.

Just got back from shooting it, and it did fine. One thing, is it normal for the fired 45acp brass to have a slight swell to them out of these guns? The #6 shot was fun to bounce around an old pot, but at 50 cents a shot, its too expensive to "play" with.

I'd have to check some of my old brass to see but I don't doubt that it's normal, they should eject with ease however. Yeah like Stainz said above, the 410 fun wears off soon but I still prefer having the option of shooting it. I also bought mine mainly as a .45 platform, both LC and ACP, the fact that it can shoot .45 LC+P was the seller for me as I wanted a bear gun for camping but the 410 also gives you a snake gun.

Grips glow in dark
They are not very bright unless you charge them up with a bright light, and then I don't know how long they would last

Hi all. I just picked up my Governor yesterday. It is my first revolver in my collection. Most of my autos are .45 ACP so it made sense. Plus it looks awesome. I haven't had the opportunity to shoot it yet but I am anxious. I will be shooting mostly .45 ACP as that is what I have, but I can't wait to try the other two rounds. Just curious. How is it?????
