Default .357 Night Guard 7Rd.

Have there been any problems with the Night Guard .357 7Rd? Can't seem to get it, and I see Buds Guns says it's no longer available. Very strange. Thank you guys for any information on this gun.

I have a 386 Nightguard and I have not had any problems with it. I have had a trigger job done on it and I had a white dot added to the fixed rear sight. It is still listed on S&W webpage so I would think you could find one. I picked up mine last year and since then I have really enjoyed it. I think it is a great gun for several reasons... 1) I really like the L frame size for carry, not to big, not to small and 7 in the cylinder is nice. 2) The scandium alloy makes it a light gun so it is not heavy for carry either. 3) I like the grips, they help tame .357 Mags... but for the most part I like to carry it with 5 rounds of .38 Special +P and a couple of .357's... just my 2 cents but I have been very happy with it. I hope you find one if you decide it is the right gun for you.

The issue might be what you are looking for.

The 357NG is a 6 shot N Frame 41 Magnum.

The one you are refering to, is the one listed in the post above the 386NG which is the L Frame 7 shot 357 Magnum.
