Default lightest pocket revolver

What is the lightest 38 revolver you can get that is rated for +p? Make or model doesn't matter, i.e. Colt, S&W.

I have a 442 no lock but it seems to me there should be something lighter.

Thanks,
pineappleshooter

I believe the original 337 TI, think it's either 11 or 10.5oz.

My Taurus M85 UL weighs 13 3/8 oz. on digital scales. That is 1 oz. less with Hogue monogrip than it weighed with factory grips.

Too bad you don't want a 22....well...not too bad, you know what I mean. A Model 317 snub will almost float out of your pocket at around 10.8 ounces. It has a lanyard-loop so you can tie it down and not lose it. Do you really need something that shoots +P in a revolver any lighter? There is really not much difference between a +P and standard velocity ammo....most of the difference is in our heads IMHO. Standard load 38-special SD ammo has come a long way in the past several years.

S&W 337Ti at 11oz+. I loved mine and carried it for years. They are expensive and hard to find. I bobbed the hammer and had a fantastic trigger job done on mine. Hardly knew it was there. The ammo weighed more than the gun!

The original 340--chambered for .38--is 10 oz according to a friend who has one. The .357 mag is 11oz or 11.4.
