Default Does anyone have this 627?

I'm not sure where else to post this offer.

I recently bought a gun that came to me shipped in this box. Does anyone here have this gun? If so, let me know and it is all yours. I understand it is a long shot. But, stranger things have happened.......

Best,
Charles

Even though mine is off by 884 I still think this is a great offer.

That's very nice of you to try and reunite it with the gun.

Ditto! That would be really neat to find the gun that actually belongs with it though!!!

Very nice offer. I managed to score a 627 box some years back for my exact gun, and another later only one digit off from one of my guns. If if no one on the forum has it, put it on E-bay. Maybe the owner is out there searching for it and will be happy to buy it. Cheers!

$489.00!!!!! I just saw one up for 2 grand. I have one with box that was made for the German distributor-all the marks on the gun-the box-the hand book, etc are in German. Wonderful piece. I'm toying with the idea of selling it, but I really don't wan't to see it go.

No one has shown up with the exact serial #. So, I found it a good home w/ a forum member who has a 627 very close in number.

(It'll go out it Tuesday's mail, Charlie).

That was what it cost me in 1989! In 2014 dollars it comes out to $934.90.

Policerevolvercollector,
You are a fine and good man. A gentleman and a scholar! You are THE example of what this forum represents and in the larger sense, what the responsible American firearms owner represents to this country.

For all of you old timers out there, doesn't he seem to be "one to ride the river with"....
