In my area the Local Gun Shop would have it priced at $600, and take $550 for it on a cash purchase.
Looks like a pretty clean 66 from the pictures. If you are going to list it, show a picture with grips off to show no rust under the grips.

$450-600 around here. I think that's a little much, but that's what they seem to be going for. Honestly a 66-2 is no more desirable than a 66-3 or 66-4.

I guess it all depends on how bad you may want to get rid of it. I bought one from a good friend of mine and he sold it to me for what he bought it for. It was one that was like the one I carried while working the road before we transitioned to semi-auto's. Won't tell you what I bought mine for because it was considerably cheaper than what they really go for. You might want to start at $500.00 and go down to $400, but no lower. JMO

Compare with other gun dealers and see what they are asking for the same model, and go from there.

I have a 66-2 and it is one of my favorite guns. You did not say whether you are buying or selling. If buying, the grips on that gun have been modified on the top of that left panel pretty drastically. This should be a price deduction point IMO.

The going rate here from a reputable Gun shop is $689.00. So prices are going up.

I'd say $500/$550 max about right. I bot a 66-1 4" (98 w/ correct box) a couple weeks ago on GB for $625 (a good price, it happens)
