Default Any drawback to using sq frame grips on a round butt?

I took a pair of old Pachmeirs from a square butt and put them on a round butt. Them seem to work pretty well. Any reason that I shouldn't? Yes it sounds like a dumb question to me too, but I still thought I'd ask.

Nope. You can also do it with wood grips that have an enclosed backstrap.

As long as the backstrap is covered you won't know it is a round butt.

Thanks for asking that Jayhawkhuntclub. I had been wondering the same thing but didn't get around to asking.
