It shoots perfectly fine.
There is much misconception and even myth about projectiles and bores and accuracy.
To start, a 38Super uses .356 projectiles per SAAMI specification, not .355 like the 9MM. But folks have no problem shooting .355 in a gun set up for .356. They do not even bother asking if it would work.
For a projectile to be accurate it must spin, the rifling does that as it engages the projectile.
While a 357 Magnum revolver typically has a .357 lands, the grooves are typically .346, so there is still plenty of projectile to dig into and get the thing spinning even with a .355 9MM projectile
