Default Model 29 &629 Magna Classics

A local shop up here has a 29 & a 629 Magna Classic available, the 29 apears to be unfired with the wood case & extra sight blades etc. I didn't get a closeup look at the 629. Asking $1200 for the 29, they are not real negotable on thier prices. What do you guys think? Good deal or pass!

Good guns. I think $1k is about the top dollar going rate on a clean one with the box right now though.

The Magna Classic was a special run with a 7.5" bbl only. I think they were 29-5.

I've noticed that gun shops that are not negotiable on their high prices do not seem to develop into places where shooters gather and spend money.

I wish that was the case this place sells a ton of guns, some stuff is very reasonable, some not so much. They seem to be willing to sit on inventory and wait.

It is a model 29-5, the 629 is 629-3.
