Default Current value of 629-4 Classic 8 3/8"

I have been kicking around selling
my 629-4 Classic 44 magnum 8 3/8" w/scope. It seems that prices are all over the place and I don't see many (any) 8 3/8" barrels for sale. I have a Leoupold 2x scope mounted on it. A few people have offered to buy it without the scope for $600 or so.

What is a fair asking price? Price with scope?

I just picked up a Ruger Redhawk 44 that feels better in my hand than the 629. I worry that I will regret selling this 629 off, but I hate to see it become a safe queen.

Any help in valuing this, opinions, convincing arguments as to why I should keep it!!

Thanks for the help!

That's a nice gun, up here the gun alone would go for 625 on the low side to a high of 825, depending on condition and if it had the box, docs
As to keep or sell, that's totally your call, all I can say is they don't make them like that anymore

If it's any help, I just bought a 629-1 6" here in the Denver area for $650.00, no box or papers. I thought that was fair, and it wasn't the Classic.
