I have an early 629 MG (actually MR) that I cannot find grips that fit to my satisfaction. Every aftermarket grip I've tried has a gap at the "step" at the top, when viewed from the rear. I seem to recall that this was one of the earliest production roundbutt frames, and I'm starting to wonder if that's part of the problem. Has anybody else noticed this issue? I decided not to sell the old girl off, and want a nice set of grips for it.
