S&W Combat grip question
Are the hand written numbers on the back of the finger groove combat grips supposed to match from the left grip to the right grip?

I have a set of K/L S&W Combats. They don't have any handwritten number but do have a date stamped on one panel. June 1988 for that particular set.

yes, those numbers were written to keep "working" grip panels together in the grip making process.
