S&W Model 65 - please confirm date
Hi,
Just ordered one of the model 65 revolvers from SOG.
S/N BNY 12xx is on the way.
The standard catalog doesn't list this prefix, but it would seem to fall in the 1993 vintage. Is this correct?
Any idea where the SOG police returns came from?
Thanks, Marc

BNW is March 1993. So adjust accordingly, looks like summer-fall 1993

Ladder13, thanks for the info. I found BNW in the standard catalog, but nothing on BNY. I know that they skipped around numbering from time to time.
No, I got a model 65 4 inch model... (You must have a dealer account with them to login)...

They had 15 in stock on Monday, and still show in stock.
I haven't seen my revolver yet. It's at my FFL, and he says it looks OK.
