I sent my 29-10 back to S&W for some finish concerns and an over-clocked barrel and a very difficult to close cylinder. Sent the gun in on the 12th of December and received it back on the 27th. All of my concerns were addressed and finish issue was primarily on the cylinder. Not only did they fix the finish issue on the cylinder but they refinished the complete firearm. Not only did they address my issue, but they insured that the whole firearm was perfect. This was a new, unfired 29-10 that should have originally came from the factory this way, but regardless - they made it right.
Kudos to S&W customer service.
Thought I'd share since all you read about is the negative.
