Default Night Guard

I've been browsing for a Night Guard and I keep seeing something consistent with every photo. On the left side of the frame there are two or three discolored spots. Is this the camera/photographer, or are the spots actually on the gun? If they are on the gun, what are they? I wouldn't think that every NG has "finish problems"

Hammer, trigger, and rebound studs.
Steel, as opposed to the scandium frame.

If your LGS has one you like/want, I'd try to deal for it soon. They have all been out of the catalog, ie, out of production, for a while.

I thought that the metal they were made out of can not accept the same finish as the rest of the frame material.

And, Gold is pimped out.
