Default 700 gr 500 mag vs bowling pin

Went to the range today and shot some of my 700 grain 500 magnum bullets I just made. It isn't the first time shooting them but it is the first time getting one back thanks to the bowling pin. It was pretty cool peeling back the plastic and seeing how it traveled an everything. I wish this range was closer though (1 1/2 hrs away) because its the only one that is not regulated and let you do as you want. Rapid firing a 500 isn't super accurate but is fun lol. Think I will take some water mellons next time

Ouch! Old wrists and arthritis -- ouch, ouch! That's SIX 9 mm bullets at one time.

I bought one of the "sample packs" of the 700 grain loads..
there was five in there, there's three left....
I'm calling the 500/550 grain my max for a fun load..
However, if I ever get attacked by a charging buick..... I still have those three 700's left.....
