Default Wyatt Deep cover 642 package

Well i called out to Gunsmoke in colorado about the Deep cover package. Well Paige answered the phone which i was shocked by, and she said they are takeing deposits for them. Its 300$ deposit and the 637s are supposed to be in the store by christmas. This will be the 1st batch of 100. Paige said they have 58 deposits for the gun and the total price is going to be 650$$$.

A little pricey but should be a nice little carry gun.

I do believe Brian is right on that Rugby, it being a bobbed hammer 637 with action work. I was initially thinking 642 also.

$300 for 20 minutes work and a pair of hip grips . . . I think I'll pass and just carry my 642.

$650?? IMHO, that's just crazy. I saw that episode where they pitched the 637 to S&W. Just carry a 642 - what's the point of bobbing the hammer?!

One episode some dope brought his grandfather's Wingmaster into them to turn it into a "tactical" shot gun. I think they charged the kid like $2K. I was like ***!?! He could have kept that and bought a brand new 870 Tactical Express for $500. He got owned by the Wyatts.

Sorry, I just don't see $650 plus shipping, plus transfer fees there personally. Why not just buy a sub-$400 642, or better yet, a 638, do an action job and add a set of $30 Barami's?

I will admit to watching the program, even with Direct TV, there's not always something better to watch.

Think some of the prices they charge for work shown on the programs are outrageous.

On the snippy side, I'm not into b**b jobs and I'd bet anyone a case of beer that both females, PARTICULARLY Paige have had them.

Also think all the special explosive effects are a joke. Just my opinions. Don

I have a pair of bobbed-hammer vintage Chiefs, a 36 & a 60, I like them more than my 442. A single-action shot is possible if required, not so much for self-defense (DA only!) but if you're using it as a trail or plinking gun.

IDK, I really like "bobs", either factory or aftermarket, not real particular as long as they are nicely executed and finished. :-)

Not sure about Paige's "bob" job, but mom's are definitely aftermarket.

I'm not a big fan of 'pimping' your daughters assets, whether real or purchased for ratings.

They routinely overcharge. Took Mark Schlereth (ex Bronco) to the cleaners for a TC with three barrels. Something like 4Gs, as I recall.

I think the show is a JOKE. They use the the TV series to build a reputation and the good gunsmiths let their work speak for itself.

That show is a travesty and I would be ashamed to carry anything with their name on it. Google Rich Wyatt and see what a scumbag he is.
