I picked these up at a local gun show this morning for my model 13. When I returned home I discovered they are for a N frame . I then searched online to find a new set of Hogue like these for my 13. I like the look of the medallion in the rubber grip.

The only Hogue I can find have the S&W logo molded in rubber on grip. I was unsuccesful in locating a K or N frame Hogue with the metal medallions.

What N frame gun would have shipped with these Hogue monogrips on them. I'm guessing they are a factory grip although S&W does currently show them on their website.

I used to see those on the 629 classics when Hogues became common on S&Ws from the factory, around the early 90s iirc.

These came on some of the 629 and 29 "Classics"...some came with these with the silver emblem and later ones came with the S&W embossed in the rubber. I have seen a set with the silver emblem for a K frame RB, but only 1 time as I think they are very rare. PM me if you want to sell these you have for the N RB....

I think the grip 00Buck2 bought is for a Square butt N frame! Which ought to be a little scarce as well. Wouldn't mind a set myself.

I would like to just find the S&W medallions to try to put on my 629-5 Classic Tamer rubber grips. Anybody have any luck putting S&W medallions on grips ( rubber or wood ) that didn't have them ?
