Default Model 60-15 goes back to S&W

Never being able to find a nice used 3" Model 60 I bought a new 60-15 a few months ago. Probably had about 50 rounds of bunny loads through it. At the range the other day I couldn't close the cylinder after shooting a few.
Looked at it really hard and realized that the part of the crane the cylinder sits against was hitting the frame window. Not by much, a few thou, but enough to stop the cylinder. Took it apart half a dozen times, can't see anything wrong so back to Smith it goes. Really makes you wonder. My first new Smith in many many years. I always buy nice older guns.

DRATS! Pilot error (sort of). There was the smallest imaginable sliver of some metal between the cylinder and the crane bearing surface. I had cleaned this area half a dozen times and nothing changed but I was determined today. Got out the magnifiers and found it. Back to perfect function. I have to cancel the call tag request.
