Default Model 29-3 stamped markings

I have anew to me model 29. Serial # AUM1XXX. In excellent condition.

It has some stamps on the under side of the barrel.

"WISCHO" or "MISCHO"
hand made "F"
large script "y"
kinda a flaming "torch" over over a circle with maybe a script "L" in the circle

The script "L" in the circle also appears on the underside of the frame ahead of the trigger guard.

I will try to get some pics. Can anyone tell me what they might mean? Thanks.

WISCHO is a German Arms importing company. Those symbols are proofmarks.

It's not worth any more because of this if that is what you are asking. Probably detracts from the value.

But that dont make it shoot any better or worse... enjoy

Thanks very much for the reply. So does this mean the gun was first sold in Germany and came back to the US? Any odea on what each symbol means?
