Default Pawn shop find 686-1 4"

I am more than excited. Went to the Second Amendment rally in Brooksville, FL today. On the way we took US19 and I hit a few pawn shops. I saw this sitting buried and after a little negotiation, brought this home for $550.00 out the door. This is a prime candidate for my blast cabinet.

Great deal! BTW, I just bought a pair of those grips for my "new" 1992 Model 64, because they're the closest grips I could find to my old Uncle Mikes #59005 boot grips, which I loved, but they're no longer made. Now I found a pair on eBay but I'm wondering if I should just stick with the Pachs. The 'palm swell' feels different, but they seem really nice. Do you like them?

Well that is a good question. I have never been a big fan of Pachmyer grips because the rubber is hard. I prefer Hogue and I am debating if I should swap them out. That being said, they do fit my large hand rather well. IT is the texture I don't care for.
