I picked up a brand new S+W 43c 22lr last week. I took it to the range today and my god the gun shoots way to the right. To get it to shoot anywhere were I point it I have to stand 4' in front of the target and aim to the left. Now I know this not a target gun but this is crazy. Needles to say I'm very disappointed. I have a 340pd 357 mag and shoots great. Anyone have one and how does yours shoot?
Thanks Mike
any chance the front sight might be damaged? Perhaps the barrel is off center? I give Smith and Wesson a call obviously if its shooting that far off there something wrong with it.
Yea I guess I'll call them tomorrow. This is what I get for buying one of the new Smith + Wesson's. I told myself a couple years ago after reading here about all the guns that had to go back I would never buy one of the newer guns but I gave in and did it anyway. Oh well you live and learn. Like I said I do love my 340pd. I just hope I get it repaired.
Thanks Mike
I did have to send my 617 in for an attitude adjustment. Turn around time was about two weeks but the gun shot perfect when it was returned to me. Mass production always leaves a couple of not quite perfect units. S&W will take good care of you although a little patience may be required due to the current buying stampede.
