Default Which current S&W Models are available without locks?

I don't want to start an internal lock argument here, I just want to know which S&W model revolvers currently in production are available without locks. Looking at the manufacturers website is sometimes confusing and they may not list everything and/or not always up to date.

My 642 is new and has no lock, but I don't think I've seen any full size revolvers (or any other current production S&W revolvers for that matter), without the I/L.

My understanding is that only a few of the J-frames come without the IL. All the larger frames are unfortunately cursed with the un-necessary and ugly addition.

442, 642 and scandium variations of those are the only ones that come to mind.

Wonder what it take S&W to eliminate the IL - also, what's the political calculation?

Photoman44 said it best. There are some variations of the Centennial J frames available without locks and that's it. No other frame sizes and no Js with exposed hammers.

The 340 M&P is the only scandium model without the IL.

The other models without the IL (centennials as mentioned) are the 442, 642 and the 640 Pro. Last year the 632 Pro was available but has since been discontinued.

If you are interested in a certain model look for it here. Lipsey's Catalog - Ruger, Smith & Wesson, GLOCK, Springfield Armory
They usually note IL or no IL with each model.
