442/135+P Gold Dots
I have two handguns and a rifle that I really like. There is just something about revolver rounds staring at you from the front of the cylinder. It would make a bad guy have to think twice. Another thing I like about my 442-1 is that it fits so well in my hands. If I don't use two hands on my G26, icould have a jam. Don't have to worry about jams with the J Frame. Carrying it today.

My 442 is an EDC and is shot frequently. For my money you cannot beat these small guns for my rather tame-retired lifestyle.

I have a 442 Pro Moon Clip.
I really like it.
I carry it most of the time in a Lobo Model 1 Pancake.
I carry one or two Moon Clip Reloads in a California Competition Works 5 Shot J Frame SAM Carrier.
I put Green Sight Brite on the front sight to help pick it up a little better.
The only way it could be any better, is if it had a Pinned on Front Sight.

I carry a 642-2 with Uncle Mike's Boot grips loaded with Speer 135s and carried (mostly) in my front pocket and sometimes in a Don Hume IWB. With me all the time.

The GD 135 was designed especially for the short barrel revolver. IMHO it's the only load to go with.

I'd just like to find some of the above mentioned Gold Dots. I live 20 miles from the Speer factory and they are almost impossible to acquire.

Mine's a 640 no-dash, but you're right: these little gems are excellent protection and very shootable with (in my case) old and arthritic hands. Perfect for me, and I've carried mine daily for over ten years.
