Default 642-1 with a ported barrel

Over the weekend I went with the Tennesssee brother in law to a gun show in Nashville. He has been wanting a new Bodyguard .38 to replace his 1911 that gets heavier everyday. Bodyguards in this area are non-existant, I did find something interesting for him to carry, which he ended up taking home with him. It is a 642 Airweight with ported barrel, it either the 1 7/8 or 2". He is happy with it and got it for a decent price with no box or papers. He asked me to do some checking for him on information about it. The S&W bible makes reference to two different product codes with ported barrels made for RSR Group, 103815 and 148631. The serial number is CCF8xxx. Does anyone know anything about these special built 642's for RSR?

Prices are inflated recently consistent w/the ammo "shortage" as well as other nonsense. That said a reasonable price, w/the ported barrel, would be around $450 where I am. My EDC is an early '90's nickle 442 which is identical to the 642 in appearance, and should go for about $350. He should enjoy his new J, they are great carry guns.
