Default 686 information needed

I am starting the search for a used 686 or 686+ in 6 inch barrel.
what are they going for in good condition?
I have heard that they come in custom or pro versions with wood grips but what else is improved or different on them, and what premium would that add to the purchase and value of the revolver?

I have purchased several -4 or older 6" 686s over the past several years. They cost me between $450 and $625 - the highest cost was for a -3 Classic Hunter that was owned by a collector who shot it very little, if at all.

With today's escalated prices, a nice one should cost somewhere under $700 - just a guess as I haven't shopped for one lately.

I recently grabbed a lightly used 6" no dash with Pachmayr rubber grips for 600 with the original box.

Thanks
Those prices are doable, even if I decide not to sell my M&P 9c with factory ctc laser grips.
