Falling in love with a 620
I went by the pawn shop today to make a payment on my 66-3 that I have on layaway. I always have to look around and see what he has gotten in. He has a 620 that has been catching my eye. Somebody has put tiny wood grips on it which I hate but that is an easy fix. I had him pull it out so I could inspect it. Big mistake on my part I fell in love with it. The trigger pull was smooth and it locked up tight. I really like the half underlug barrel. I swore to myself I was not going to buy anymore guns until I save up and buy a 610 or a 627 whichever I buy find a deal on first but now this 620 is calling my name begging me to bring it home. If it hangs around I don't know if I can resist. If it wasn't out of production it would be easier to resist. I might have to seek professional help for my growing addiction to Smith and Wesson revolvers. My list keeps growing.

You know you want it.
So, just do it!

The two piece barrel on the 620 would be a deal breaker for me. I don't know which 627 you're waiting for, but if it's a 627-0, your patience will be rewarded. Good luck.

The 2 piece barrel doesn't bother me I've read reviews and it is a very accurate gun. I'm not crazy about the lock but that's an easy fix.
