Default Does this crown look okay?

To me it looks off center and maybe not cut all the way thru the right side looks fine but the left just looks weird to me. Gun shoots Okay not great but that could be just as much me as the gun. what do you guys think? Call tag or not? The gun is a 627 pro.

I would be upset with the way that looks. That's an expensive gun. I would make the call.

That's one of the worst looking crowns I've seen. Make the call.

Doesn't look as if that "pro" model was a step up. Quite the contrary.

Check my thread a couple days ago on my 627 Pro Series crown. It is the worst I've ever seen, yours may be slightly worse actually. Mine grabbed an amazing amount of lead in one cylinder-full of shots. Well, not sure it is lead or just steel from the hand file they used to crown it. Already got word from Smith to send it back. Very disappointed in the quality of the pistol, but maybe they will make them right for us.

Going to have a gold bead front sight put on mine while it is back at Smith.

It doesn't look crisp. What about the rifling?

That does not look remotely proper.
The fact that it occurred and then slipped by on high quality revolver like a 627 Pro is even more disappointing. Back to the mothership it should go.

The crown is the tiny bevel cut into the end of the rifling. Everything else is window dressing. That said, you paid for drapes, but got roller shades.
