looking at a 629 locally (pictures only) and I have tried to determine exactly what it is. It has combat grips, 3 inch barrel and appears to have the L-comp style compensator on it infront of the front sight. The rear sight is a service sight like on a model 10 or model 58 (not adjustable). It is a prelock gun as well. it is in a blue plastic box so I do not believe it is a performance center gun....

Any idea of what I am looking at? and or a range on price would be very much appericated.

Here's what I think about this model:



Phenomenal gun, it's a handful but very controllable, a very useable and powerful package.

Not a toy, but a very competent carry piece.

Value is hard since the quantity of these is limited, but I'd say somewhere in the $1300-1500 range, probably higher.

Oh man, I so need this one to go wih my 2.5 inch PC 629... I have told the seller I will take it but it is not in my hand yet...
