Ahrends j frame boot grips
I am looking to purchase the Ahrends boot grips for my 649 – 5. Their product is a little pricey but I can live with it, if it fit my hand . The only way to know is to buy a pair. If anybody has an opinion on the boot grips are can suggest something that might be just as good, please let me know.

Ahrends stocks are excellent, but the prices you're seeing are likely because Kim is -- sadly -- out of business.
I agree with DTH that VZ makes excellent J-frame gips and I can personally attest to the standard version with tactical diamonds.

Eagle made some finger groove combat stocks....theirs were made for concealment - they are the secret service model.

I like and own many sets of Ahrends’ grips, but for J frame I prefer Eagle smooth secret service, Hogue, factory bananas and VZ. However, there are MANY other choices.
