How many years did they make the Bear survival kits in 460 and 500? I would to have 1 of these kits but I don't think they make them anymore. I was not sure what my chances of finding one would be. I have never seen one in person. Any info would be
appreciated about these guns. If you have one you would like to sell I might be interested.

they only made them for a few years. they came with a little survival kit and a book about bear attacks. the waterproof case they came in was really nice and of high quality. they do not make them any longer, but with a little patience, you should be able to find one.

If you're looking for one based on collectible value or "cool" factor, you might want to place a WTB ad here on the forum. If you want it for practical purposes, you could easily put a similar kit together, and tailor it to your specific needs.

Oddly enough I looked at one for sale today. The gun has been fired but is in excellent condition and I think all the parts of the kit are there. The case is in great shape. If you're interested send me a PM and I can connect you with the seller (for sale in the Dallas area).
