Shot my 442 today...
I finally had some time this morning to visit the range and try out my new 442. Put 40 rounds on paper without any difficulty, and once I got accustom to the long DA trigger pull, it was nice. Once I put more rounds through it, I believe the trigger should smooth out a bit more.

Always good to get to the range! Need to get there myself. Your right about the trigger smoothing out too, dry fire helps a lot too. I put the Apex trigger kit in mine with some minor polishing, lots of live fire, and even more dry firing. Very nice pull now compared to new.

Great little revolver for back up or concealed carry. Gave my 442 to my grand daughter, a cop in Houston, for use as a backup. Missed it so much I bought a 642 to replace it. Wolff springs gave it a better trigger. Carried one for several years both on and off duty, never let me down.

im taking a few much needed vacation days, went to the range yesterday with my m&p 15 / trijicon mr31f-rmr, there was this older guy showed up with a group of new shooters, he was pretty clearly showing them range rules and safety, he brought an entire arsenal of guns, funny thing was he couldnt hit a bull in the butt with a shovel. i was pleased he was teaching them rules about range safety, i finally sugested he move his target from 100 yards to 50 yards untill he got his ar on paper, he was a likable fellow but didnt seem to know how to set up a rifle ( he looked at my m&p and said "showoff") lol
