Default Experiences with 66-7??

I'm interested in one of the 2-piece barrel models because I remember how wickedly accurate my old Dan Wesson .44 mag was. I've pretty much decided I want to find a 66-7, so I'd like to know what members experiences have been with them.

I remember reading somewhere on this forum (can't find it now) reports the 2-piece bbls had been discontinued because of alleged problems.

I recently purchased a 6" 66-3 for IDPA SSR, then read SSR is 4.2" max. Doh! RTFRBF (Read The Fine Rule Book First!)
