Default John Ross 500

I'm looking at the John Ross PC 500, and was looking for first hand experience how durable the black oxide finish was. I read where he wanted to have it done in melonite but had to go with a different finish. Any first hand experience would be greatly appreciated.

My black sales demo has about 2100 factory Hornady rounds through it and is none the worse for wear. Remember the factory warrants the finish for life.
