Default I settled on these grips for my nickel Model 19-4

I traded a Ruger Redhawk for this gun and have been trying to figure what grips to put on it (it came with black fake pearls, yuck!). I bought and then sold some elk grips for it, then ended up putting these targets on it that I've had for thirty years. Grips don't always have to be fancy, and these feel great. I won't rule out Kuracs in the future, though, since I love the N frames I have.

Nothing wrong with the old style Targets,.......I always considered them the best grip for K, L, and N frames, especially if smooth. I prefer Herret's Shooting Stars for J-frames. Besides, the old style Targets fit whereas, the newer styles leave a lot to be desired.......

Default I like it

The dark grips really contrast well with the bright nickel finish.

For a second I thought I was reading an old thread of mine. I also traded my Ruger Redhawk for a nickel 19-4.
And I own a rifle sling that matches that holster.

Those are nice grips. The dark walnut looks good with a nickel gun.
