It's an N frame.
The top pic's a square butt, on the bottom's a round butt.

Actually, you can even buy grips that will turn your round butt into a square butt.

Don't leave us hanging... what grips are you planning on getting?

I tried a set of Ahrends on my 627. Loved the look, but nothing feels as good as a set of small Pachmayr Presentations.

those are neat looking stocks, never seen those before. for n frames ahrends work for me ,the square butts help with recoil , but the round butt tucks out of the way better.
i hope youll post a pic when you get them

before long youll have a "handle" on most s&w frame sizes and models , theres a lot to absorb at first, but you are on the right track asking here.

Sure it will. AFTER everyone posts pictures of their 327s, compares grips, butt styles, and best loads for target and self defense.
